When you send a quote request, financing pre-approval, consignment request or service request through a form on this site, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address and anything you write in the message, along with the trailer you selected and the page the form was sent from. The financing form also asks for your city, an approximate down payment and employment type. We do not ask for your Social Insurance Number, date of birth or banking details on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and quote, hold or sell you a trailer or tires.
- To arrange financing with a lender, only after you ask us to.
- To list and sell a trailer you have consigned with us.
- To book service or handle a warranty claim.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists. Financing details are shared only with the lender we arrange your financing through, and only with your agreement.
How form submissions are delivered
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a form-handling service operated by our website provider. That service processes your submission for the purpose of delivering it to us and does not use it for anything else.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies. If we use website analytics, it is to understand which pages are visited and does not identify you personally. Embedded Google Maps on the About and Contact pages are provided by Google and subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling 780-965-8600 or emailing info@achesontrailers.ca. Records we are required to keep for a completed sale, financing agreement or warranty claim are kept for as long as the law requires.
